Anti-Ligature Thermostat Cover

Anti-Ligature thermostat covers are ideal for environments that are required to ensure ligature risks are reduced to provide safety to users. They can be used in individual rooms within health settings so that all service users can be a comfortable temperature in their environment with control too.

Thermostats can be subject to vandalism in mental health settings, this can result in ligature risks because sharp parts could be on display and the internal capillary wire could be used to self-harm.

The robust chamfered box design helps to reduce vandalism by deflecting impacts away from the delicate body of the thermostat.

IP3X ventilation grilles gives airflow to the thermostat whilst minimising the risk of ligature being able to be tied to the grille.

For ultimate hygiene, the anti-ligature thermostat cover incorporates Biocote® the patented silver based anti-microbial agent in the paintwork.

The unique, patented additive to our powder coating provides an effective, safe, and long-lasting solution to combating a wide range of dangerous bacteria, including MRSA, providing a major benefit in areas where infection control is important.

This is especially important for an anti-ligature thermostat, as thermostats can gather bacteria quickly because they are used frequently by staff and patients.
